I like photographing places that others don’t. If you, like me, have grown tired of seeing the same places pictured over and over, then we’ll get along fine.
The photo workshops that I lead will get you away from the crowd. In fact, on wilderness trips to photograph bears, birds, or the wild landscapes of Alaska, there is a darn good chance that we won’t see another soul for the length of our trip.
If you prefer the comforts of the front-country I can still get you places where few others can on day-trips, or multi-day hotel or car-camping adventures across Alaska.
And then, there is the aurora borealis. Photographing the aurora is a life goal of many photographers. And it should be; there is nothing else like it. From October to early April, I lead single night, and can arrange multi-day aurora photography workshops and viewing trips. For more about that, visit my Aurora Tours page.
Like all the trips I lead, my photography workshops are usually customized to your goals, interests, time, and level of enthusiasm. A couple of times a year I lead small-group trips with a set itinerary. When space is available, those trips will be posted here:
There are currently spaces available for a NEW autumn aurora and landscape workshop 24-28 September 2018. If you’d like to sign up, send me a message.
